St. Patrick's Day Activities and a freebie!

Ok, so I was not even planning on making a product for St. Patrick's Day, but I fell head over heels in love with Creative Clips St. Patrick's Day Clipart set, so here I sit a midnight trying to finish this little goodie up!  I love making themed things but it's hard not knowing what we will all be teaching at said holiday, so I did try to make these versatile and something you could still squeeze in even if it's not a standard being taught this week.  Up first, I thought it would be fun to just make coloring sheets of this super cute clipart, so I made two worksheets of color by sight words.     Pretty cute right?  Next I thought the kids might enjoy working a word search.  This would be great for morning work!   Then I could not make my mind up on a short reader.  I love little booklets, but I also know that they are pretty time consuming, but I still just had to make one!  I however took the same story and turned it into a worksheet where the kid

Read Across America Week

Hey guys, I am excited about Dr. Seuss's birthday coming up and loooovve Read Across America Week at school.  I thought it would be fun to have the kiddos write about their favorite book and some special things they like about it.  My third grader said she would help me out and work on whatever I created, so here's what we came up with:) I think they turned out really cute.  I thought there should be a boy and a girl for the students to make themselves.  Check out the rest of the pictures! Grab it here! Now go get it and Teach On!

How it works.  So I made the vocabulary cards to match the Go Math Chapter for time.  As we learn these new words we will add them to our anchor chart.  For our very first lesson, I will be teaching the kiddos the order of the numbers on a clock and where they go.  First I have all the numbers on board a
