Alphabet Worksheets and a Freebie!

Alright, so here we go with post two on my huge alphabet bundle!  Centers are definitely my favorite to make and use, but we all know worksheet are a necessary evil.  Let's just dive right in!  First I'm giving the link to this cute little freebie!

This freebie includes a page for every letter and students will work on handwriting skills and identifying pictures with the given letters beginning sound.  Simple but effective.  I think it's a fun way to start this post!

I will once again be offering all of these worksheets individually as well as in a worksheet bundle.
This bundle will include the following worksheets.

Alphabet Cut and Paste
Dab That
Identify Beginning Sounds
Alphabet Upper/Lower Tracing Worksheets
Alphabet Tracing
Alphabet Find and Sort
Alphabet Glue Dots
Alphabet Letter Fun
So let's get started!
Alphabet Cut and Paste
First we have Alphabet Cut and Paste.  This worksheet is meant to be used as an icebreaker.  I use these when I am introducing a new letter.  We color the pictures and trace the letters and then talk about the sounds the pictures make and what the letter sounds like.

Dab That

Students will work on letter recognition while completing this worksheet.  Students can use a dabber or simply color the circles that have the given letter.  The student will then use their math skills to count how many of the given letter they found.

Identify Beginning Sounds

Students will work on beginning sounds with this worksheet.  Students will look at pictures and determine if the picture begins with their given letter.  If so they simply dab or color the correct arrow.  This worksheet is great for homework!

Alphabet Practice

This file includes a uppercase worksheet and a lowercase worksheet!  Students will practice their handwriting skills till it is perfect!  Simply print and go!

Alphabet Tracing Worksheets

Surprise another freebie!!  I love a good freebie!  Students will work on upper and lowercase writing as well as beginning sounds and letter recognition all in one worksheet!

Alphabet Find and Sort

Students will once again work on letter recognition in this worksheet, but not letter from letter.  Example not A from H.  Instead they will work on identifying uppercase from lowercase letters, so knowing B from b.

Alphabet Glue Dots

I also included my glue dots worksheets.  You can see a post all about these worksheets on this blog.  Here they are.  What kid doesn't love glue?

Alphabet Letter Sort

Students will sort upper and lowercase letters again as well as work on handwriting skills by tracing upper and lowercase letter and will complete the worksheet working on letter recognition again.  Simple no prep fun!

That's all of them, I can't wait to show you how I put all my centers and worksheets together to make a week full of letter learning fun!  It will be the next post I post.  It will be full of pictures as well and I will show you how I put the worksheets and centers together.  I will also be posting the link to purchase the full center/worksheet bundle, which will include workbook covers and labels for the center.  Until then!

Kindergarten Halloween Centers

I am so excited to start this new blog!  I have put some serious hours in!  Last year I drew some really cute halloween cuties but with 4 kids under 8 I never got around to posting them.  So I thought I would start this new blog with some Halloween fun!                                                           Click here to buy at my tpt store I was so excited about these cuties I decided to make a few things with them.  I wanted to make these centers 5x7 cards so I could buy one of those super cute photo boxes that everybody is using, but I can't justify the price tag! So for now I think some cute titled envelopes will do. My soon to be 5 year old and I have been getting ready for next year and kindergarten!  So these were made for her, so preschool/kindergarten.  First we started with these cute play-doh mats. I was over the moon with my witch fingers I found at Target.  I was immediately 8 years old and pretending I was the witch in wizard of oz.  I love

Love is in the Air! Valentine's Day Bulletin Board Ideas

I am so excited to share this with you all.  I have fallen in love with creating bulletin boards.  The thing is all that super cute clipart out there that would make things so much easier for me, well it doesn't allow you to create bulletin boards due to copyright because you are not changing the image in any way. So don't do it!  In comes my small artistic ability and an apple pen!  I created three different Valentine's Day displays!  And the best thing is they are all interactive!  Yay!  So, the first one is my "Muffin" board.  This one is for a smaller board about half the size of the great big hallway boards.  It turned out super sweet and fun!  So how does this work interactively? Students will scan thee QR page. The QR code will take students to my first directed drawing with Shelia and Joe!  Here they will draw their very own muffin and then color.  Click the picture to see the video!   After they complete the directed drawing all you have to do is lamina
