Hey everybody! I am finally done with Go Math Chapter 10! I feel like I have done nothing but think about this unit for what feels like months and months, lol. There is so much you can do with graphing and I could not turn my ideas off. So I have a ton of pictures with this post, so sit back and scroll on down!
I decided to try and give you guys some differentiated worksheets this time. I know from experience that odds are you have several different learning styles and levels in your classroom and sometimes it is hard to find one thing that fits them all, so several of these worksheets are leveled at 1, 2, and 3. I have 1 as struggling students, 2 as just right, and 3 is for your gifted or to challenge your 2's. I labeled the worksheets in the top right corner.
Level 2 pushes students to dig deeper as well, but with fewer questions than the level 3.

I also went ahead and let you know which worksheets go with which lesson. Most worksheets will have this at the top, but a few have the lesson number at the bottom.
I wanted this packet to be super easy to read and use. This packet has a total of 109 pages (not all are worksheets) I also included I can statements with essential questions and vocabulary cards.
I wanted to share a little bit of what is in this unit and if you want to see more go check out my preview with this listing it has a preview of every single worksheet included in this bundle.
Lesson 10. 1 I can read a picture graph! I love the zoo! I thought it would be a fun start to his unit to have students read about favorite zoo animals. This worksheet is leveled at 1, 2, and 3.
I feel like students will try harder if they feel like they are doing a good job and with it leveled like this I think each of your students will have a worksheet they can understand and they can complete. The next day we talk about making a picture graph.
I made 2 levels for this one.
Lesson 10.3 is reading a bar graph. For this worksheet I made a level 1 and a level 2.
Level 1 focuses on finding the title and reinforcing how to read the key. This level will also ask how many are in each category. Level 2 does this as well but digs a little deeper and has students answer a couple more questions.
Lesson 10.4 is having students take their knowledge from lesson 10.3 and actually make a bar graph. Here is an example of the worksheets included in this section. I also have this one as a level 1 and 2. Level 1 has students color shapes different colors and then complete bar graph. This level does not ask any questions. Level 2 students will color and sort shapes and then answer questions about the data in their graph.
Lesson 10.4 moves on to reading and interpreting tally charts. I have leveled these as 1, 2, and a 3.
Level 3 will ask more questions and have students dig deeper into the tally chart.
Level 2 pushes students to dig deeper as well, but with fewer questions than the level 3.
Level 1 simply has students count tally marks and identify who sold more and who sold less.
Lesson 10.6 students will work on bar graphing as well as making a tally chart. I have this leveled at 1, 2, and 3 as well.
I have so much more with this unit, please go check it out at my store. Download the preview to see a preview of everything included in this bundle, I even include my apple graphing bundle in this for free!! Go check it out!
